Experience the beauty of Mount Kilimanjaro on a one-day adventure via the famous Marangu Route, departing from Moshi. This short trek is ideal for travellers with limited time, families with children, and anyone who wants to experience Kilimanjaro without committing to a full summit climb.
Your adventure begins with a morning transfer from Moshi to Marangu Gate, where you will complete the registration before starting your guided hike through the lush tropical rainforest. Along the trail, enjoy the fresh mountain air, beautiful forest scenery, and the opportunity to spot black-and-white colobus monkeys and other wildlife.
Continue hiking to Mandara Hut (2,700 m), where you can relax, enjoy the surrounding natural beauty, and explore the area. If time permits, you can visit the scenic Maundi Crater for panoramic views of the surrounding landscape.
After enjoying your time on the mountain, descend along the Marangu Route to the gate, where your driver will transfer you back to Moshi.
